New TOS-R Trailer and Vesperia System Confirmation!
Sorry for the late update, but I didn't have access to a computer yesterday. -_-
Anyway, the Jump Festa Trailer of ToS: Knights of Ratatosk has surfaced, featuring a preview of the new theme song, "Three-Legged Race" by Misono, and a hefty amount of anime clips. Check it out HERE.
Some other interesting information derived from the video comes in the form of new story details. Apparently, Lloyd is now the head of the Church of Martel (o.O) and is the one responsible for the "blood-purging" (destruction) of Palmacosta, which caused the deaths of Emil's and Marta's parents. This is an..interesting twist, to say the least, but only if they execute perfectly right.
On an other, slightly more depressing note, it was revealed by Sakuraba's english website's discography that Tales of Vesperia will be released for the XBOX360. Hopefully, this means that, like Eternal Sonata, it will eventually be ported to the PS3.
Finally, we got a new banner, to celebrate the two newest Tales games! So, leave us a comment, and tell us what you think!

Tales of Vesperia Trailer Revealed!
The trailer for Tales of Vesperia has just been released! Check it out HERE!
The games looks amazing, utilizing a cel-shading style very similar to Eternal Sonata, another game produced by Namco Bandai. So far, the system is still unannounced, but judging by these visuals, Vesperia will probably be released for the XBOX360 or the PS3.
So far, four characters have been revealed: The hero, a teenage boy with long, black hair, the perky, pink-haired heroine, who somewhat resembles Kannano from Radiant Mythology, a blonde knight who looks like a lovechild of Guy and Frings, a small boy with a hammer and a huge bag, and a mage type character who utilizes a book of spells.
Also, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, from all of us here at Raijinken! And if you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Hanukkah/Kwanza/Winter Solstice/Whatever you may celebrate!

HUGE TALES UPDATE! Tales of Vesperia announced, New KoR Scans and Theme Song Info!
Well, sorry about my absense, everyone, but while I was gone, A LOT has been happening with the Tales series! Two new scans of Knights of Ratatosk have surfaced, KoR's theme song has been announced, and the biggest news of all, a new Tales game has been announced at Jump Festa 07: TALES OF VESPERIA! So, let's start with the biggest news first...
Tales of Vesperia The newest Tales game has just been announced at Jump Festa, an annual event that takes place every December. "Tales of Vesperia" was copyright quite a while ago (along with the names Tales of Strife and Tales of Valoria). Back when Tales Channel announced four new Tales games, they spoke of one that was in development that they could not yet speak of. And what do you know, here it is!
According to early details, the game will have a long, black-haired hero, and a pink haired heroine. In addition to these two, a pretty blonde knight has been seen in the preliminary screenshots. The main hero will be able to use the Souryuurengazan ougi, while the Tidal Wave spell was also shown.
Kosuke Fujishima, the character designer of Tales of Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss, and more, will head up this new Tales game. The game will be in full 3D, but its platform is currently unspecified. The visuals have a different feel from previous Tales games, which leads us to believe this is the visual rebirth the series creator spoke of earlier.
ToS: Knights of Ratatosk - New Scans and Theme Song! Two new scans of TOS-R (as it is now referred to by Japanese videogame magazines) have surfaced, revealing some interesting tidbits. The scans feature some screenshots of the old playable cast from the original Tales of Symphonia, in newly realistic proportions (but in the same clothes...-__-). The most exciting part, though, is a screenshot that shows Collete in battle! This proves that the first cast will be playable!
Also, the theme song for ToS-K has been announced: "Three-Legged Race" by Misono! Misono, the lead singer of Day after Tomorrow, the band behind the theme song for the original Tales of Symphonia.
